Cenareo is a 'French Tech' success story located near Toulouse, that developed an effective SaaS solution to create, manage and broadcast content on remote displays in real-time, from any PC, tablet or smartphone.

Job description

Your mission :


You are responsible for the path of growth, you form new relationships, drive measurable value, and establish core financial processes. You drive the metrics and presentation of results, you contribute to long-term objectives.

You are an important strategic partner to our CEO and the public face of our company in front of investors, bankers, financial analysts, and regulators...


Your activities to succeed :


DEVELOP DATA-DRIVEN STRATEGIES & MANAGE RISK in a SAAS B2B Environment

  • You oversee data collection and generate insights.
  • You drive the company’s financial planning.
  • You perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
  • You manage cash flow (expenditures, prevent costs from getting out of hand).
  • Ensure the finance related processes are efficient and up-to-date


WORK WITH THE BOARD AND PARTNERS

  • You assist with high-level decisions about strategy.
  • You play a key role in advising and challenging key investment decisions.
  • You run alternative funding opportunities (public grants, subsidies...)


MANAGE THE FINANCE & ADMIN TEAM & RELATIONS WITH C-LEVEL MANAGERS

  • You manage 3 people, this includes training, coaching, delegation, performance management and retention of our team
  • You build a strong partnership with every C-Level managers


GUIDE AND SUPPORT CEO ON FUNDRAISING ROUNDS

  • You conduct the investor outreach and initiate conversations, you evaluate potential VCs.
  • You manage the due diligence and financial planning required to attract investors. You compile responses to information requests and you are responsive to the VC’s questions.
  • You articulate the company strategy and vision as well as the objectives of the capital raise.
  • You handle the transaction all the way through to funding.


Profile

Qualifications :

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree
  • 5+ years of senior strategic finance professional experience mandatory in SaaS B2B company
  • Previous involvement in B and C fundraising rounds
  • Exposure working with VC’s or Private Equity investors is essential
  • Experience being a key member of a Senior Management Team with success providing input to the CEO, Board, and peers.
  • Ability to see the ‘big picture’ and be forward thinking in relation to growth, budgets, capital allocation, and future fundraises


Abilities and competences :

  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills
  • Confident presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-tasking and handling competing deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Proactiveness and strong listening skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills
  • An experience in implementing an ERP would be appreciated
