You will play a critical role at Sigfox Corporation by providing comprehensive, practical and responsive legal advice in an international environment.

As our Senior Legal Counsel you will be in charge of : 

• Working directly with the Sigfox Operator Business Unit at Corp level, serving as one of the lead counsels on strategic deals, providing day-to-day legal advice and negotiating agreements with Sigfox network partners in new countries;  

• Drafting and negotiating a variety of complex agreements in the IoT ecosystem (distribution agreements, service agreements, partnership agreements, loan agreements, hosting agreements, consulting agreements, etc...); 

• Providing advice across the company’s departments (sales, marketing, purchasing, R&D...) on legal issues (distribution law, data privacy, competition law...); 

• Monitoring legal and regulatory developments of interest to Sigfox and the IoT industry; 

• Implementing compliance strategies, in particular by supporting the launch of new countries; 

• Handling pre-litigation and legal disputes.

• You have at least 3 to 7 years’ experience gained from working in a law firm and/or in-house; 

• You have legal experience in the commercial/distribution area (preferably in Telco or IoT fields) and are skilled in the art of negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements; 

• You have sufficient seniority and skills to work autonomously and at the same time have the ability to work in a team; 

• You possess the necessary credibility to interact at all levels of the organization and be responsible for your own case load; 

• You possess excellent French and English written and verbal communication and drafting skills with strong attention to detail;

• You have demonstrated strong initiative, good judgment and the ability to find pragmatic solutions;

• You have the ability to communicate clearly and provide commercially focused advice;

• You have highest standard of ethics and professional integrity.
