Our client is a leading water treatment manufacturer with facilities worldwide, providing innovative solutions that improve both water quality and water management. Our Residential and Commercial System team of our Systems BU provides a range of high class Point of Use and Point of Entry Water Treatment Solutions including Softener Systems, filtration systems and other Water Management products.

The core purpose of the role is to accelerate our growth in French and Swiss markets by managing and growing existing dealers/distributors, prospecting new potential dealers/distributors and developing long-term relationships with key prospects.

The successful candidate will be ideally have technical experience with a proven track record in sales and/or experience with Equipment dealer and service markets or practical experience of influencing specifiers for new build / refits (i.e. Architects / M&E Consultants / Turnkey Design, Build and Service orientated dealers etc.).

Reporting to the Sales Director, your main tasks will be to :

  • Maintain and expand the sale of our products with existing dealers/distributors and look for new potential dealers/distributors by preparing presentations or product demonstrations, proposals and sales contracts, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction,
  • Develop direct dialogue key stakeholders in our value chain (incl. distributors, dealers and service providers)
  • Identify and develop business opportunities through defined routes to market. Follow up with sales prospects and manage them to establish a customer relationship,
  • Develop and recommend pricing strategies and implement the agreed marketing plans (incl. trade fairs and exhibitions) in line with the Company’s vision and values,
  • Provide voice of the customers to support the development and introduction of new products,
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities as well as give feedback on competition and market trends,
  • Investigate and expedite quality claims and complaints in accordance with company policies,
  • Contribute to the training and educational programs of clients,
  • Maintain and provide accurate records of all pricings, sales and activity related information.

Description du profil

Experience :

Required experience of 2-3 years of sales and marketing experience within the water treatment.

Qualifications :

Home Office based with national & international traveling.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence others, and build long lasting business relationship’s,
  • Ability to quickly understand and learn technical products and their applications,
  • Willingness to travel mainly within the assigned territory (= France & Switzerland)
  • Independent and well organized when managing simultaneous projects,
  • Hands-on and proactive work ethic
  • Willingness to make the extra effort for the highest customer satisfaction
  • Possess solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • The successful candidate must be fluent in English and French; any other language will be considered an asset
