At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. Your role : 🔎
As an A/C retrofit Manufacturing intern, in the context of manufacturing of our ATEA prototype A/C, your missions will be to plan and organize the retrofit of our prototype from one configuration to another. You will be part of the Production Team.
Your main responsibilities will be :
> Liaise with the Engineering team to collect the necessary information about the new configuration
> Defining manufacturing and test sequence
> Identify jigs and tools needs
> Elaborate manufacturing instructions
> Plan the technical and supply activities
>Identify the new processes to build for “retrofit operation”, linked to configuration management, quality and supply chain.
> Use project management methodologies (planning , risk management)
> Follow up the progress of the retrofit on the A/C
Where do we stand?
You will be entering the team during a crucial part of our development. Full scale testbenches are ongoing while full scale aircraft development is running at full speed with many issues to tackle regarding communications networks and associated developments.
The job has been made for you if you have : 🛠
Graduating BAC +5 Master degree in engineering
A first experience in production is a plus.
Rigor, autonomy, integrity and team spirit are key for this mission
Good command of IT Tools
English : Oral and written communication
Willingness to work in a multi functional team (production, engineering, flight tests, manufacturing engineering, etc.)
Knowing Aeronautical norms is a plus ( EN9100, Part 21G…)
