Le poste

ACC Resident Engineer is the ACC counterpart of the customer plant manager to facilitate the resolution of all bilateral issues. In case of a technical problem, and depending on the kind of issue to deal with, he/she contacts the relevant stakeholders within ACC (Plant Quality, Project Quality).

Main activities:

  • Located at the Customer Battery Pack Plant the ACC Resident Engineer is the Customer's unique entry point for all technical issues in the battery assembly plant. He/she is part of the Customer Projects team and reports to the Serial Life Project Manager.
  • Ensures the communication and interface between ACC and the Customer regarding all topics raised at the Battery Pack Plant (0km claims – 8D, deviation requests…) to ensure customer satisfaction. As such, he/she develops the necessary network within the customer plant to achieve his/her mission.
  • In coordination with ACC teams, he/she organizes locally all relevant quality measures to secure Customer production (e.g.: parts sorting, diagnosis).
  • Ensures preventive quality actions related to ACC modules (e.g.: parts handling analysis, verification of storage conditions).
  • Alerts on potential risks to prevent the occurrence of issues on any topic relevant to ACC responsibility.
  • Organizes and monitors on-site the implementation of containment actions, and permanent actions related to product/process changes.
  • Answers technical queries raised by the relevant functions at the Customer Plant (production, logistics, quality, …).
  • KPI :
  • Quality = Achievement of the target (ppm in GF, in Customer assembly plant (0km), in service)
  • Customer satisfaction = Reactivity to 0km Claims, Contribution to Scoring BidList

Localization: Customer Battery Pack Plant (Eastern France)

Profil recherché

Experience and qualifications:
>10 years of works experience in the automotive and/or battery industry

  • Including several years in a production environment
  • Including several years in serial life quality

Experience with customer relations or customer-supplier relationship 

Engineering degree

Key behaviors:
Team player, good at communication, good at negotiation. Customer Oriented. Reactive and Pro-active. Mobile. Self Starter and autonomous
