e-miRgency will be a company selling medical devices for point-of-care diagnosis. The patented technology based on microfluidics and electrochemistry allows to detect short nucleic acids fast, sensitively and error-free compared to RT-qPCR. This technology is a result of 8 years of academic research and CNRS pre-maturation. The portable device (TRL 5) was built in collaboration between 3 researchers from Centre de Nanosciences et Nanotechnologies in Paris Saclay. 
We hope our technology can bring diagnosis to the patients’ bedside avoiding long and costly turn-over times and equipments.

We are looking for a CEO that will take the lead in business aspects of the project including:

• build the business plan of the company
• define the commercial strategy of the company 
• define a financial plan to ensure the viability of the company
• contact potential investment funds and raise first rounds of investments
• establish partnerships

We are looking for a person ready to take the leadership of our company and collaborate closely with our CSO and CTO to define the strategy. The candidate must have a background in business and a strong interest in medical device market. A prior experience in biotech would be appreciated.
