Job Description: As a Business Controller in the manufacturing sector, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights, analysis, and guidance to drive strategic decision-making and optimize business performance. You will work closely with the management team to ensure financial transparency, evaluate operational efficiency, and support the achievement of financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets for the manufacturing operations.

2. Monitor and analyze key financial indicators, variances, and trends, providing actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

3. Conduct regular financial performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost structures, streamline processes, and identify opportunities for revenue growth.

5. Prepare financial reports, including monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, management reports, and ad-hoc analysis.

6. Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights on revenue projections, cost drivers, and investment opportunities.

7. Perform financial risk assessments, identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.

8. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

9. Provide financial support and analysis for capital expenditure projects, including ROI calculations and investment appraisals.

10. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to provide strategic recommendations for business growth.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.

• Proven experience as a Business Controller or similar role within the manufacturing industry.

• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis techniques.

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis using ERP systems and MS Excel.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

• Strong business acumen and understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers.

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
