Buyer - Production Purchase (all gender)

At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. We focus our efforts in designing an innovative, safe, silent, clean and affordable aircraft that will be able to blend into existing infrastructures and regulations to ease its deployment and maximise social acceptance.

You will be joining the Procurement team, currently made up of one person so far.

In order to strengthen the team, your main responsibilities will be :

• Orders management (creation and follow-up)
• Entering supplier invoices
• Support in tenders management (RFI, RFP, RFQ)
• Supliers' offers analysis
• Negotiation and preliminary contractualization with the suppliers
• Ensure the follow-up of the execution of supplier contracts
• Implementation and execution of NDAs
• Participation in the sourcing of suppliers
• Support structuring IT tools for the implementation of purchasing processes
• Support in developing purchasing process templates
• Support in the definition and implementation of purchasing processes

The job has been made for you if you : 🛠

• 3 and 5 years of experience in Procurement
• Good knowledge of the supply chain and purchasing processes.
• Knowledge of management and negotiation of purchasing contracts.
• Ideally justify a first successful experience in industry sectors of aeronautics, space and/or defense.
• You are familiar with Microsoft and Google suites and analytical tools (Excel...)
• Fluent English & French
• Ability to work in a team and to coordinate work with other teams
