General Accounting Specialist

It’s an exciting time at MAPAL Group. We have recently received substantial investment backing and are accelerating our growth journey through international expansion, mergers, and acquisitions.

To support this growth, we have created a new vacancy in our Finance Team. Your challenge: You will have to manage general accounting and suppliers!

General Accounting:

• Follow-up and entry of cut-off entries in order to establish a monthly accounting close
• Entering bank transactions
• Control of travel expenses: controls and verifies the proper application of our charter related to expense reports
• Recording of payroll entries and provisions relating to personnel costs
• Until the closing of the balance sheet: inventory and closing entries / corporate accounts / tax returns (once the transfer of mission has been carried out with the chartered accountant).

Accounts Payable:

• Registration of invoices in general and analytical accounting
• Lettering of accounts
• Preparation of transfers
• Contact person for suppliers in the event of a dispute
• Dues and taxes :
• VAT declaration
• TVS calculation
• Miscellaneous: Participation in the migration to a new accounting tool.

This position is scalable and will allow you to take charge of the following projects:
• The implementation of monthly closings
• Internal takeover of the entire function (balance sheet & tax return)
• The establishment of a process for reporting information from future subsidiaries (retrieving information from firms abroad)

Your team: You will evolve within the Squad Finance and will report to our Head of Finance.

Required profile: You are the one we need!

• You have several years of experience in accounting (establishment of corporate accounts and tax returns, practice of cost accounting, etc.)
• You are able to lead and manage projects
• You have a good knowledge of Excel
• You are endowed with a great autonomy and you are a force of proposal
• You know how to work in a team
• You know how to adapt to various situations
• You are known for your dynamism, your organizational strength and your rigor
• You have a good relationship to work with all the services
• You are curious and you regularly update your knowledge in the field of accounting and that of automation and dematerialization tools

• You have already carried out a complete accounting closure (up to the balance sheet).
• You have experience in auditing.
• You have an appetite for using digital tools to automate and dematerialize accounting tasks.

Job conditions:

• You have a training in accounting or finance
• You have at least 4 years of experience in a similar position, including one/or more experiences in an accounting firm.
