Join our team working for an esteemed European administration in Luxembourg as an Information Resources Manager, overseeing both physical and electronic information resources. Your role includes:

For Information Resources in Paper Format:

1. Maintain circulation lists and labels for newspapers and periodicals.

2. Monitor timely arrival and prepare newspapers and periodicals for circulation.

3. Identify and retrieve information resources aligned with business needs.

4. Implement phased-out strategies for paper-format resources.

For Information Resources in Electronic Format:

1. Administer e-newspapers, e-periodicals, and e-books.

2. Provide and revoke user access, maintaining a comprehensive access list.

3. Verify business needs periodically, guiding subscription renewals or discontinuations.

4. Maintain the reference catalogue of information resources.

User Support and Communication:

1. Handle user support tickets for both paper and electronic resources.

2. Inform users of policies, procedures, and processes related to information resources.

Supplier Communication and Administrative Support:

1. Communicate with external suppliers within a defined remit.

2. Provide administrative support for information resources procurement and contract management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in information science, library science, or related field.

• Proven experience in managing physical and electronic information resources.

Skills:

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail.

• Proficiency in managing electronic resources, including access control.

• Familiarity with circulation systems for physical resources.
