About Taxi Service

Taxi Service is a phone-based Taxi & PHV booking platform. On the customer side, Taxi Service offers one single number to find a driver anywhere in France, Belgium, Switzerland and soon across Europe. On the driver side, Taxi Service provide rides without any cost, and without any constraints.

In 8 months, Taxi Service has grown from 3 to 40 employees and from 0 to 4000 trips per month in Switzerland, Belgium and France. By next year, we will have 100 employees and 10,000 trips in 4 countries (we will be opening the UK very soon). Taxi Service Team is present in Geneva, Marseille and Lisbon.

  • Gross Salary Package: 70 K€ (60+10)

🌟 The Missions

You will take the technical lead of Taxi Service. You will work directly with the founders. Depending on your skills & expertise, you will either take over the development of our current CRM to optimize it and make it go way beyond the stage of MVP, or you will begin a new CRM from scratch to build a more efficient and robust solution.

Technical issues of the project relate to the optimisation of our CRM, the central tool of all Taxi Service:

  • Payment: post-payment of trips according to the amounts on the meters, payment of subscriptions
  • Automated booking: API connection to cab and VTC fleets, management of cancellations and contingencies
  • Phone calls: API connection to manage calls, call routing
  • Data Analytics: salesperson performance, call duration, acquisition performance (connection to Google Ads), bonus calculations
  • International scaling: preparation of the CRM to triple the volume of users, multilingual operators
  • Driver application: development of an application to send trips directly to independent drivers

You will be responsible for:

  • Defining tech team roadmap (prioritization, planning, methods and tools used...)
  • Developing and testing new features
  • Recruiting, training & motivating your team (Mentor role)
  • Creating standards and best practices for the technical team
  • Taking on technical challenges: performance optimization, scalability
  • Staying on top of the best technologies and tech trends
