The Legal risks Manager is responsible for the Compliance role and will act as Compliance officer, and defend and maintain standards according to current legislation/codes in the Region & Globally policies & procedures.

The Manager will provide guidance to multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all activities developed and performed, are in compliance with applicable demands (legislations and guidelines).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Operationalize and maintain the local Compliance Program (trainings, communications, controls, reports) to ensure compliance with the applicable requirements (e.g. local Code, applicable rules and legislations, Corporate Policies requirements etc..)
  • Review local activities in accordance with Corporate Global Policies, local Code
  • Participate in audit preparation: prepare documentation requests, set-up meetings with the applicable functions/team members
  • Lead / support action plans, preventive actions corrective actions (CAPAs) as per Audit results
  • Support the Compliance Lead EU Cluster to identify the need for specific local processes, procedures and tools to accomplish initiatives and goals and act in accordance to mitigate the relevant risks (tools implementation, training etc.)
  • Evaluate the need and develop/revise compliance controlled documents, templates and training, if necessary.
  • Act as key contact point for compliance within the affiliate, and provide day-to-day operational compliance advice to customers
  • Review, translate, (if applicable), provide comments and implement, presentations, communications and trainings.
  • Represent local on global, international or regional cross-functions teams
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to the affiliates staff on the interpretation and implementation of the local trade association code, Corporate Global Policies and other applicable rules and regulations.
  • Assist in the implementation of the Corporate Compliance Program
  • Monitors national and international applicable legislation.
  • Operate compliance monitoring programs in alignment with the global Monitoring & Analytics ; offer suggestions for improvement during meetings
  • Continuously report up to regional leadership significant matters regarding the market compliance programs

Description du profil

  • University degree in a relevant field, preferably in a legal discipline.
  • Huge experience in the relevant areas of compliance, investigation, analytic and/or monitoring
  • Documented experience and knowledge in the area of Conducts, Anti-bribery legislations, Data privacy and GDPR as advantage.
  • Ability to build national networks and relationships.
  • Anticipate trends/changes in laws and regulatory environment.
  • Must be able to innovate, analyze and solve problems with minimal supervision and attention to detail.
  • Inter-dependant partnering skills, team-oriented and ability to influence outcomes.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English and French
  • Negotiation, collaboration, persuasion, communication and relationship building skills.
