About us:

We are an entrepreneurial team passionate about building innovative software solutions for the hospitality sector. Our mission is to provide restaurant operators with the most advanced and easy to use back-office and business analytics solutions, to improve their profits through the automatization and optimization of management and business operation processes.

Role Overview:

To work at the heart of our Product team enhancing and improving existing functionality whilst also delivering on the strategic direction of the business through the Group Product Roadmap.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Delivering on enhancing and improving existing functionalities.
• Working with clients and client-facing teams for gathering new requirements and training on the roll-out of new features.

Product:

• Assist in the decision making with the Product Owner regarding short to medium term roadmap (epics/features) and User Story refinement (mapping and 3 amigo sessions)
• Providing detailed user analysis to help shape the product development via research/experience of the industry.
• Help create and maintain product backlog items in conjunction with the Product Owner, breaking down epics/features into user stories and creating detailed user stories for the development team.
• Collaborate with the Development team, QA, and UI/UX to enhance and deliver new features.
• Attend daily agile ceremonies to assist the development team with questions/requirements.
• Ensure backlog items are prioritised according to strategy/roadmap.
• Create release communications and documentation for both internal and external teams.
• Determine training needs, and where applicable create content for new product functionality to help internal teams and clients.

Business Knowledge:

• Keeping up to date with Hospitality & Tourism industry to ensure best advice and knowledge is in place to support clients and develop the product.
• Understand and keep up to date with Product Development best practices through self-development research activities.

Team Relationships:

• Work directly with the Product and the Development teams delivering on Product changes.
• Work with clients and client-facing teams for requirements gathering and the communications and training required to the roll-out of new features.

📍 Location: Edinburgh.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Good understanding of the Hospitality Industry and its challenges.
• Knowledge about workforce management solutions is an asset.
• Previous experience as Business Analyst in a SaaS environment is a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Focused on collaboration and teamworking.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Multi-lingual is an asset (English, French, Spanish)
