We revealed our two prototypes to the world and are now ready for the next steps of our adventure: industrialize our production, starting with a pilot line at the heart of Paris, then building a plant ; and selling our robots at a global scale. The main objective of this role is to design and develop a solution that meets the needs and challenges of our future clients.
We aim to strenghten the Houston team, responsible for carrying out the product vision within Enchanted Tools. As such, we are seeking a Senior Physical Product Designer.
As a Physical Product Designer Senior, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing world-class robotic characters that will improve daily people's lives.
Assist the team in retrieving the needs and constraints of our potentials users and stakeholders.
Consolidate and formalize the user insights into a specification.
Collaborate effectively with the UX researcher and junior Product designer to transform user insights into user-centered design solutions.
Work with R&D teams to develop wireframes and prototypes (simulations, prototypes of functions on the current platform) for testing with users and gathering their feedback.
Design, pilot and implement experiments and testing involving the robotic platform and its interest system, in collaboration with junior Product designers and UX researchers. This includes designing and leading user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitive analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and AI experts, to ensure seamless integration of proposed solutions.
Ensure that the product design is aligned with business objectives and brand guidelines.
Keep up-to-date with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
Implement UX best practices, processes and tools within Houston and the company.
Raise awareness among teams about ergonomic and user experience good practices.
For this role, we are looking for people with experience with physical products (cars, robotics, domestic goods,...).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX or Product design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
At least 6 years of experience in UX or Product design, with good experience working with physical products (the car industry, robotics, physical interface, etc.)
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc
Experience working in a multidisciplinary team with an eager to product structure
Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
A portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and design outcomes
