Software Engineer

Lokad is a company created in 2008 and specialized in supply chain optimization. We help companies from different sectors (aeronautics, fashion, automotive, e-commerce…) to forecast and make decisions regarding their inventories. The majority of our clients are based outside of France, mainly in North America and Europe. Our team of about 50 people is entirely based in Paris, but composed of international profiles, mostly engineers. Lokad is growing rapidly and is always looking for people who can grow with the company

At Lokad, you will be joining a team of talented software engineers to improve our platform dedicated to the predictive optimization of supply chains. We tackle tough real-world problems, and our clients are literally dependent on us to keep their stores, warehouses or plants working.

As a software engineer, you will be involved in the development and maintenance of the data import pipeline of Lokad's platform. Your role will be to help our team of supply chain experts to reliably retrieve, clean and understand our customers' data.

Lokad uses C#, F#, Visual Studio, Git and we deploy on Linux VMs on Microsoft Azure.

This position is eligible both for hybrid remote or on-site. Our offices are located in central Paris right by the subway station Chevaleret.

We strongly believe that correctness, reliability, performance or maintainability are dominantly a matter of proper upfront software design. That is why we're looking for someone who's serious, rigorous, with significant experience in a first company.

A first experience of querying SQL databases, data warehouses and/or data lakes is most welcome.
