We are a deeptech Newspace company founded in 2017. Following three years of artificial intelligence development at Stanford and Singapore, the team has now settled in Toulouse in 2020 to start its In-Orbit Servicing activities. We are now a team of 15 with 10 nationalities, exporting our activities over 4 continents.  Our Mission is to offer satellite operators a competitive way of managing their fleet, from Inspection & Surveillance to Life Extension Services. Space Infrastructure is growing and so the need for maintaining the assets in orbits.

Our first two servicers are scheduled for launch in September 2022 and Q1 2023 in GEO Orbit enabling a steady revenue stream for the next stage development of our technologies.

Job description

If you are looking for a commercially driven company, at the edge of Space and Artificial Intelligence technologies with growing environment and possibilities for fast advancement.

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer with previous experience of spacecraft projects to lead our next project starting now.  

The System Engineer provides technical architecture leadership to support the complete development of the project up to validation with the support from the CTO and the technical experts in the team.

●   Working closely with the CTO and the Product Owner to finalize design trade-offs and set up the industrial consortium.

●   Leading the maturation toward the PDR and CDR of the spacecraft by identifying all the activities, analysis and simulations to be performed.

●   Applying wisely the right standards to ensure safety and reliability of the mission while keeping a newspace approach

●   Coordinating the engineering team in the development phase, including ground and operations team


●   University Master degree or equivalent, preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering,

●   At least 5 years experience in European Space Industry

●   Experience in Requirement Management, Flight System Architecture, ECSS Standards

●   Knowledge of spacecraft subsystems and space environment; 

●   Knowledge of AOCS & GNC, Navigation techniques and Control theory

●   Knowledge of Flight Dynamics and Flight Software

●   Pro-activeness & Accuracy

●   French Language is a plus


Preferred qualifications:

●   10 years experience

●   Previous experience in technical development in ESA project

●   French, Spanish or German Language is a plus
