We aim to produce sustainable, affordable, high-capacity, longer-life batteries as a cleaner alternative to current energy sources. Context :
ACC is a young and fast growing company that needs to standardize its processes, to capitalize its know-hows and good practices, and to build an innovative and efficient culture, using Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods and tools.
Excellence Officer common body :
The ACC Excellence Way is the Company’s global, comprehensive, and structured approach to execute the Strategy with the highest level of performance. Contributing to the 6 pillars of the ACC Excellence Way approach, the main responsibilities of the ACC Excellence Officer are:
Vision & Strategy
Builds and roll out the ACC progress management cycle (Want to be, annual objectives contracts) within his/her perimeter challenging on the best in class level
Drives the benchmark methodology and advice on the best targets for his/her Department
Management System
Supports the process owner in designing/upgrading all required standard for his/her process/entity including process description
Supervises the standardization activities within the entity and even contribute to standard writing when needed.
Supports the process owner in implementing all validated standard for his/her process/entity, including training to applicable documentation.
Evaluates the proper execution of the defined processes and associated procedure.
Defines and roll out operational management standards within his/her perimeter, such as management control. Check their good implementation on the field, through training, coaching and audits.
People Empowerment
In relay of the HR team identifies the need of training for his/her Department,
Trains and coaches on fields related to Management System (standards) and Excellence Way
Jointly works with HR on Soft skills and Onboarding as advisor.
Checks the implementation and efficiency of the Training Plan for his/her Department
Nota bene: action plan, scheduling, financing, reporting are under the responsibility of the HR team
Best organization setting
Builds with process owners and the Excellence Way Department the best managerial organization described in the ACC Management Book
Performance monitoring
Contributes to building an efficient performance monitoring by piloting the identification the KPI of his/her entity and the related progress plans, in a continuous improvement spirit.
Contributes to the reaching his/her perimeter’s goals, by rolling out the Excellence Way and problem-solving methodology, check-list of maturity assessment,
Leads Performance audits for his/her perimeter and action plan.
Continuous improvement
Continuously capitalizes on the good practices coming from the Gemba, making sure that they are quickly and thoroughly implemented within his/her perimeter, and that the ACC Excellence Way is enriched accordingly.
Contributes to build a culture of standards, waste reduction, methodological problem-solving (PDCA) and continuous improvement within his/her perimeter.
Conducts and/or oversees progress workshops, foster cross-functional teamwork efforts on the gemba, as close as possible to where the value is created
Specific additions to Supply Chain perimeter :
Write and deploy a Supply Chain Manual, contributing to on-time and on-quality deliveries, from suppliers to customers.
Implement methodological supports to monitor logistics and supply-chain activities.
Guarantees that standards are applied and continuously improved via internal audits (can include suppliers and third party logisticians).
Be focal point for Quality and Customers in their required audits (PCPA, MMOG/LE, VDA6.3) and animate the resulting action plans
Deliverables: Supply Chain Manual, Procedures, Methodological supports, audit reports
KPIs: Service rate and other SCM quality KPIs, milestone adherence, audit results
Knowledge :
This position is opened to people who have held operational management functions in a similar perimeter.
Experience :
Significant and demonstrated experience in operational management, in the use of Lean manufacturing methodology and tools, and in the coaching and training of managers.
Qualifications :
PDCA, Lean Manufacturing, 6-sigma, Problem-solving methodology
