Job summary:
responsible for driving sustainability and digital transformation projects within the organization, as well as managing associated data. The role involves identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing solutions, and tracking progress towards sustainability goals.
Key responsibilties:
Develop sustainability strategies for the organization, including goals for reducing environmental impact and plans for the adoption of sustainable practices and technologies.
• Identify and analyze data related to sustainability and digitization initiatives, including environmental impact, energy use, and resource consumption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop solutions, and implement projects.
• Manage data related to sustainability and digitization initiatives, including collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Track progress towards sustainability goals and report on key performance indicators.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices related to sustainability and digitization.
• Communicate sustainability and digitization initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, and partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including vendors, industry organizations, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead the development and implementation of sustainability-related policies and procedures.
• Degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in sustainability, digital transformation, or a related field.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex sustainability and digitization concepts to a variety of audiences.
• Knowledge of sustainability standards and regulations, including carbon reporting and environmental impact assessments.
• Knowledge of digital technologies, including data analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI).
• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) or the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards sustainability goals.
