SOS MEDITERRANEE is a European civil sea rescue organisation whose mission is to provide assistance to people in distress in the Mediterranean Sea, to protect and assist survivors and to report on the situation in the Mediterranean Sea.
The French association works in network with national entities in Germany, Italy and Switzerland. In France, in 2022, our association had 45 employees, interns and civic service volunteers based at the headquarters in Marseille, or at the offices in Paris, Rennes or Bordeaux. Essential to our action, and part of the DNA of SOS MEDITERRANEE, a network of 750 volunteers in 21 French cities (antennas) ensures a mission of testimony and awareness.
To carry out our mission, we recruit professional and committed human resources who share our values of humanity, transparency, independence, civic commitment, non-discrimination and solidarity.
