🚀The Role
As Java Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing code quality and technical design, ensuring the development of robust and scalable software solutions.
Additionally, you will manage the team by organizing sprints, including task definition, time estimation, and task assignment, while fostering collaboration and efficiency. This role is a unique blend of hands-on technical work and team management. Your ability to balance technical expertise with leadership will be key to driving project success.
💻 Technical Skills
5+ years of experience in backend development, with expertise in Java and Spring (knowledge of Python and C++ is a plus).
Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of virtualization tools, espacially Docker and K8S.
Proficiency in optimization algorithms, data analysis, or machine learning is a plus.
👥 Management Skills
Proven experience in team leadership and mentoring developers.
Excellent project management skills, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals.
Ability to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of Energy or Transportation sectors are a plus.

📝 Recruitment process
The entire process typically takes 3-4 weeks
Step 1: An initial technical interview via video conference with two recruiters (45 minutes x 2).
Step 2: A second interview via video conference with two other recruiters, as well as a brief 15-minute discussion with the CEO of Artelys (45 minutes x 2 + 15 minutes).
Step 3: If your interviews are successful, we will invite you to visit our premises to make you an offer in person and introduce you to the work environment.
