At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. Your role : 🔎

As an A/C Manufacturing Engineering intern, in the context of manufacturing of our ATEA  prototype A/C, your missions will be to plan, organize, and describe the final assembly operations of our prototype (sequence, parts, tooling, etc.) as well as building the process of ensuring the conformity of the prototype. You will be part of the Production Team.

Your main responsibilities will be : 

  • Liaise with the Engineering team to collect the necessary information about the configuration

  • Defining manufacturing and test sequence

  • Identify jigs and tools needs

  • Elaborate manufacturing instructions

  • Plan the technical and supply activities

  • Propose and build the processes to check the conformity of what has been built with the configuration management, quality and supply chain.

  • Use project management methodologies (planning , risk management)

  • Follow up the progress of the assembly on the A/C 


Where do we stand?

You will be entering the team during a crucial part of our development. Full scale testbenches and full scale aircraft development are running at full speed with issues to solve in order to take aviation to new heights with our innovative products.


Profil recherché

The internship has been made for you if you have : 🛠

  • A BAC +5  Master degree in engineering ongoing

  • A first experience in production is a plus.

  • Rigor, autonomy, integrity and team spirit are key for this mission

  • Good command of IT Tools

  • English : Oral and written communication

  • Willingness to work in a multi functional team (production, engineering, flight tests, manufacturing engineering, etc.)

  • Knowing Aeronautical norms is a plus ( EN9100, Part 21G…)
