Automotive Cells Company (ACC) is a joint venture created in the summer of 2020, supported by Stellantis, Mercedes-Benz, and Saft (a subsidiary of TotalEnergies). Our ambition is to produce electric batteries at the highest technological level while developing cleaner and more accessible mobility for all.

🔋 We are proud to manufacture, in our Billy-Berclau Gigafactory, the batteries that already power several electric vehicles available on the market (PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008, Opel Grandland, DS N°8, Citroën C5 AirCross, and Jeep Compass).

Since 2023, Block 1 of our Billy-Berclau / Douvrin Gigafactory has entered production. This first block marks a decisive milestone in the site’s history: after the launch of the first production lines, we are now engaged in a ramp-up phase—an essential step toward reaching full industrial capacity.

This period is marked by major technical and human challenges: ensuring process reliability, optimizing performance, strengthening skills, and embedding a culture of operational excellence.

Job description

The AI Specialist is responsible for identifying, designing, developing and deploying AI solutions that create measurable value for ACC operations and business functions. 

Based at BBD, he/she acts as the primary point of contact for all AI-related topics on site and represents the D2S organization locally. The role requires strong business engagement capabilities to capture needs, challenge opportunities, drive adoption, and ensure successful deployment of AI initiatives. 

The position combines business-facing responsibilities with hands-on technical expertise in modern AI technologies, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, AI orchestration frameworks, and intelligent agent development. The AI Specialist will contribute to ACC's AI roadmap and lead the implementation of next-generation AI solutions supporting manufacturing, engineering, quality, maintenance and corporate functions. 

Main Missions

Business Engagement & Opportunity Identification 

• Engage proactively with business stakeholders to understand challenges and identify opportunities for AI adoption. 

• Translate business needs into actionable AI use cases. 

• Challenge existing processes and propose innovative approaches leveraging AI technologies. 

• Identify and prioritize AI initiatives based on business value, feasibility and strategic alignment. 

• Build trusted relationships with business teams and support change management activities. 

AI Solution Design & Development 

• Design, develop and deploy AI-powered applications and services. 

• Build Proof of Concepts and Minimum Viable Products to validate AI use cases. 

• Develop and industrialize Generative AI solutions supporting business and industrial operations. 

• Design and develop AI agents and multi-agent systems to automate complex workflows. 

• Implement integrations between AI solutions, enterprise applications and the Data Platform. 

• Ensure scalability, maintainability, security and operational readiness of AI solutions. 

• Contribute to software engineering best practices and development standards. 

Agentic AI & Future Capabilities 

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities relevant to ACC. 

• Develop expertise in Agentic AI architectures and autonomous systems. 

• Design AI agents capable of planning, reasoning and orchestrating business activities. 

• Contribute to the industrialization of Copilot-based and Agentic AI solutions. 

• Support the definition of long-term AI capabilities required by ACC. 

Value Realization & Adoption 

• Monitor solution adoption and usage. 

• Measure business outcomes and value delivered by AI initiatives. 

• Identify opportunities to improve deployed solutions. 

• Ensure AI developments generate tangible and measurable business benefits. 

Your profile is a match if :

Knowledge :

• Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) 

• Expertise in Python development and modern software engineering practices 

• Experience designing, developing and deploying AI solutions in enterprise environments 

• Knowledge of Agentic AI architectures, orchestration frameworks and AI agents development 

• Understanding of Data Platforms, APIs, cloud architectures and enterprise integration patterns 

• Ability to translate business challenges into AI-enabled solutions 

• Knowledge of Responsible AI, AI Governance and industrialization best practices 

Experience : 

• 5+ years in AI, Data Science, Software Engineering or Digital Transformation 

• Proven experience delivering solutions from ideation to production deployment 

• Experience interacting directly with business stakeholders and operational teams 

• Experience leading workshops, identifying opportunities and driving adoption 

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing or operational environments is highly desirable 

Qualifications :

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering or equivalent 

• AI, Cloud or Data related certifications are a plus 

• Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay current with rapidly evolving AI technologies

Compensation & Benefits :
