Job description

Role:

Innpact is looking for a curious, dynamic and committed intern to support the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics into selected strategic initiatives and internal processes.

The intern will work on high-impact use cases involving the application of AI in fund-related analysis (screening, evaluation, scoring), contribute to internal process optimisation, and collaborate with our Data Analytics team to explore and implement practical AI solutions.

This internship is an opportunity to apply AI tools in a mission-driven environment, working closely with experts in sustainable finance, and contributing to pioneering applications of technology in impact fund management.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of AI-based tools to support fund analysis workflows, including screening frameworks, automated evaluations, and scoring systems based on sustainability or impact criteria.

  • Collaborate with the Data Analytics and Operations teams to support dashboarding and reporting efforts for key ESG and impact metrics. Works closely with senior team members to maintain visibility tools and automate recurring reports.

  • Support the assessment of AI feasibility and relevance in selected ongoing strategic projects.

  • Conduct benchmarking and monitoring of emerging AI solutions in the field of finance, sustainability, and data management.

  • Develop and document simple prototypes or models (in Python, Excel, or no-code/low-code tools) to automate dataflows and test AI functionalities.

  • Help communicate findings and methodologies internally, including presentations and technical documentation.

Profile

Profile:

  • Passionate about artificial intelligence and eager to explore its application in sustainable and impact finance.

  • Strong analytical mindset with a basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and tools (Python, LLMs, prompt engineering, etc.).

  • Interest for sustainability and impact finance

  • Autonomous and proactive, with a problem-solving attitude and curiosity to test new ideas.

  • Comfortable working across teams and explaining technical topics to non-technical colleagues.

  • Familiarity with data analytics tools (Excel, PowerBI, or similar) and basic understanding of data structures or APIs is a plus.

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Engineering, Finance with strong data skills, or a related field.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
