Your role : 🔎

For this position you will be integrated within the avionics and Flight Control system teams as focal point for Airworthiness and Safety activities. With strong interactions with the Airworthiness and Safety directors which provide guidelines and plans, you will directly report to the Avionics system leader and deliver all materials ensuring a Permit to Fly for our ATEA prototype. 

Your main responsibilities will be : 

  • Drive the Safety & Reliability activities producing SysFHA, PSSA and SSA documentations, and tracking the safety requirement conformity

  • Drive the airworthiness activities delivering the required analyses for the “Permit to Fly” dossier

  • Validate the architecture change proposals

  • Participate to the safety and Airworthiness strategy definition

As Safety & Airworthiness engineer you will be a key driver of the avionics system development and Flight Control System (FCS) development, being the 1st gate ensuring safe flights.

Where do we stand? 

You will be entering the team during a crucial part of our development. Full scale testbenches are ongoing while full scale aircraft development is running at full speed with many issues to tackle regarding the aircraft operation, the system design and integration with associated internal or external developments.


Profil recherché

The job has been made for you if you have : 🛠

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer, Human Machine Interface, Network Sciences, Flight Control System or related field

  • 4+ years of experience in Airworthiness (CS-23, CS-25 or CS-27) and/or Safety  (AMC 25.1309, ARP 4754, ARP 4761) for aerospace systems

  • Good knowledge and experience with DO-178C, DO-254 and DO160 standards is a plus

  • Flight testing or system architecting experiences are a plus

  • Safety thinking is your first reflex
