Your role : 🔎

In this role you will be integrated within the avionics system team with strong interactions with Flight Control and Hybrid Propulsion systems. Directly reporting to the Avionics leader, you will be in charge of the system architecture development, participate in system design, and perform the safety analyses and airworthiness activities aiming to obtain a Permit to Fly for our ATEA prototype. 

Your main responsibilities will be : 

  • Mastering the avionics system architecture and coordinate the identification and application of related modifications

  • Capturing needs from stakeholders (i.e. Management, Authorities, Pilots, Flight Tests engineers, …)

  • Drive the Safety & reliability analyses (SysFHA, PSSA, SSA)

  • Drive the airworthiness activities

  • Work with the team on System Description Document (SDD), the System interface document (SID) and Interface control document (ICD)

  • Work with the team to ensure the full integration and interoperability of avionics system functions (Displays, Flight Warning System, Data com, Control panel, Air data & Inertial sensors, …)

  • Support the team in the Verification and Validation activities (Lab and flight test preparation / technical event investigation)

Where do we stand? 

You will be entering the team during a crucial part of our development. Full scale testbenches are ongoing while full scale aircraft development is running at full speed with many issues to tackle regarding communications networks and associated developments.

Profil recherché

The job has been made for you if you have : 🛠

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science, Computer Science or related field

  • 4+ years of experience in systems engineering or related fields in aerospace systems

  • Preferred to have practical hands-on experience in design, integration and test

  • Experience with HMI and communication

  • Good knowledge and experience with DO-178C, DO-254 and D-O160 standards is a plus

  • Flight testing experience is a plus

  • An experience of CS-23 and CS-27 certification requirements is a plus
