AWS IT Program/Project Manager

Job Description:

You will be part of IT, Security and Corporate Services Unit and focused on the Cloud.Your Tasks:  

• Project management 30-40%

• People management, meetings about the system with or without contractors.

  • Specification of the application

  • Documentation

  • Minutes of meetings, project status reports

• 60% system management

• Release management,

  • System Integration

  • Application running, there are several updates: new improvement installation, release management

  • Ticket management

• Develop and implement strategies for containerizing applications within the AWS ecosystem

• Assess which components of the software solution are suitable for best practices

• Incorporate unit tests, integration tests, and other automated testing frameworks into the CI/CD pipelines

• Leverage tools like AWS Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform to define and manage infrastructure deployments as code, promoting automation

• Manage the development, testing, preproduction, and production environments within AWS DevOps, ensuring consistency and efficiency across different stages of the software delivery process

• Document processes and provide support to the development team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

• At least 1 PM certification (Prince2, PM2).

• People Management, release management, software integration. 

• Jira is mandatory, also Confluence

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and automated testing practices

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools such as ARM templates or Terraform

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices, particularly in the context of software development and delivery

• Proven track record of effectively managing multiple environments and ensuring consistency and reliability across different stages of the software development lifecycle

• Εxcellent use of the English language (verbal & written), French would be nice to have.
