Your role : 🔎
The Business Developper is responsible for developing Ascendance business related to the helicopter market and the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) segment.
He/SHE is responsible for generating revenues for the company on the specific segment of helicopters and expand our knowledge and presence in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) segment. To do so, the Junior Business Developper will identify relevant prospects, engage them and negotiate contracts. He/She will have a complete responsibility over his/her own prospects from identification to contractualisation.
The Business Developper will also be responsible to follow best practices and existing process in the Marketing & Sales dept.: pipe reviews, follow-up on prospects, conversion of prospects into contracts, marketing methods for system and components and/or marketing methods for aircraft sales.
Finally, the Business Developper will be tasked with maintaining an up-to date document tracking the latest development from the competition and responsible for disseminating this information inside the company - both at the Marketing & Sales department level and top management level.
The Business Developper will interact with:
Lead Marketing: to better prepare Sales pitch by working on dedicated economic/performance/use-case studies to improve a specific prospect’s sales pitch
Lead Marketing: to participate in the animation of CARE group especially with regards to the customers he/she contributed to sign-in
CCO & Marketing team: to report customers requirements to pass them over to engineering if needed
CCO: to elaborate the commercial strategy and topline forecasts

You are getting deals done to achieve (or exceed!) sales targets and company objectives
You identify promising prospects in the helicopter market and maintain a qualified sales funnel with a constant link to prospects to convert them from prospects to customers and ambassadors. You’re taking care of these prospects from identification to contractualisation
You identify quickly customers pain points and are capable of tailoring your proposal and approach to better meet their needs especially related to the specific needs of helicopter operators and Emergency Medical Services segment.
You create new opportunities based on an in-depth understanding of the market needs as well as the company capabilities
You negotiate contracts with prospects through effective negotiation of terms, conditions, pricing and commitments that enhance profitability and business relationship with customers.
YOU ARE OUR CUSTOMERS VOICE INTERNALLY
You report back customers requirements to Engineering and Marketing to better understand what the market needs and adapt our products adequately
You work in close relationship with Marketing to organize customer events to better understand their needs and transform them into ambassadors for the company
YOU ARE OUR EYES ON THE MARKET
You are responsible for following our competition on the market and maintain an up-to-date competition watch file
You are in charge of disseminating this competition watch information to the Marketing & Sales dept. but also at all the top management level.
Profil recherché
Knowledge / Hard skills
5+ years of experience in aircraft sales or system/component sales in aviation
Experience in the helicopter industry or general aviation or business jet aviation
Demonstrated excellent customer relation skills
Fluent in English
In-depth knowledge of the aviation industry and its value chain
Knowledge of eVTOL industry and eVTOL technologies
Knowledge of hybrid-electric or electric technologies in aviation
Knowledge of the defense industry and its specific processes
