EBViome is a French biotechnology company developing patient-derived immune cell models to help pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies evaluate therapies and understand differences in patient response.
Our platform, EBViCells™, creates long-lasting immune cultures from small blood samples, enabling functional studies over several weeks. With an initial focus on oncology and immunotherapy, we aim to contribute to New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) through human-relevant models for drug evaluation, including applications alongside organoids and organ-on-chip systems.
We are looking for an experienced business development professional to join EBViome’s advisory board and help turn our scientific platform into commercial partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Working directly with the founder, you will help us identify where our technology answers a concrete industry need, reach the right decision-makers, and develop opportunities into paid pilot studies, research collaborations and service contracts.
Your contribution will include:
Refining our commercial offer and identifying priority pharma accounts.
Making targeted introductions to relevant scientific and business teams.
Helping shape proposals, define project scope and support contract negotiations.
Guiding opportunities from initial discussion through to signed agreements.
Our advisory board brings together trusted people who help us make important decisions and build the company. We want this advisor to share in that journey, challenge our thinking and play an active role in establishing EBViome’s first commercial partnerships.
This is a part-time advisory role with regular interaction with the founder. The scope, time commitment and compensation will be discussed individually.
We are looking for someone with:
At least five years of business development or strategic partnerships experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical services, a CRO or a related life sciences business.
A demonstrable track record of originating and closing paid collaborations or service contracts with pharmaceutical companies.
An established network within pharma, particularly in oncology, immunology, translational research or preclinical drug evaluation.
The ability to translate a scientific platform into a clear commercial proposition and work through the pharma procurement and contracting process.
A practical approach and an interest in working closely with an early-stage founder.
Experience commercialising human-derived models, NAMs, organoids or organ-on-chip technologies would be particularly valuable.
