At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. We focus our efforts in designing an innovative, safe, silent, clean and affordable aircraft that will be able to blend into existing infrastructures and regulations to ease its deployment and maximise social acceptance.

You will be supporting the current consolidation of the company carbon footprint assessment, addressing scopes 1, 2 and 3 (GHG protocol):
Scope 1: emissions which are direct emissions from owned or controlled sources
Scope 2: emissions wich are indirect emissions
Scope 3: emissions which are all indirect emissions (not included in scope 2) that occur in the value chain of the reporting company, including both upstream and downstream - especially the aircraft and propulsion emissions during service
Your main activities will be :
Familiarization and synthesis with the current assessment & methodology
Consolidating the assessment and improving it
Identifying key drivers to propose ways of improvement and reduce the carbon footprint
