The Role
As part of the site’s growth, the company is hiring several experienced CNC Machinists who can operate independently and take full ownership of daily setup and machining operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and part specs
Mount, align, and secure workpieces, tooling, accessories, and CNC programs (FANUC, Siemens)
Set up machines and perform tool changes as needed (at least one setup per day)
Use precision measuring instruments and check tight tolerances
Operate mills, lathes, and 5-axis CNC machines
Support training and improvement initiatives as needed
Ensure high quality standards and continuous improvement
The Ideal Candidate
4 to 5+ years of experience as a CNC machinist or equivalent
Skilled with:
Mills
Lathes
5-axis CNC machines (mandatory)
Familiar with FANUC and Siemens controls
Able to perform daily setups independently
Basic understanding of G-code/programming is a plus
Previous experience in aerospace is highly valued
Canadian citizenship or permanent residency required
Must have continuously resided in Canada for the past 5 years (for security clearance purposes)

Compensation:
Hourly wage: 34.47 CAD
Scheduled union raises:
+4% (Year 1)
+3% (Year 2)
+2% (Year 3)
+1% (Year 4)
Union dues: 40 CAD/week

Schedule
Default Day Shift:
Monday to Friday, 7:15 AM – 3:45 PM
Optional Evening Shift (if needed):
Tuesday to Friday, 3:45 PM – 12:15 AM (Monday off)
