Le poste

Your role : 🔎

You are an experienced composite stress engineer with an aerospace background and have demonstrated experience in leading composite test activities and associated structural analysis and simulation on composite structure. Additionally, you have gained experience in the definition of pyramid testing. Within a highly motivated, multi-disciplinary team you will develop and lead the execution of structural testing for STD0.

Your main responsibilities will be : 

  • Detailed sizing, static, dynamic, damage tolerance, and modal analysis of structural aircraft components utilizing both classical hand calculations and finite element analysis.

  • Develop aircraft structural models for stress analysis and sizing of primary and secondary structures to support trade studies and manufacturing optimization.

  • Conducting design trades, optimizations for final product configuration definitions considering safety, strength, weight, & producibility.

  • Responsible for defining the airframe V&V and associated tests : coupon tests, a/c static structural tests, Aero-elastic tests, fatigue tests, LG testing …etc…

  • Responsible to execute and follow up those tests

  • Ensure drafting of the documentation for safety of flight and convergence with Airworthiness authority

  • Prepare STD1 structural test strategy 

  • Contribute to the structure MOC for the certification of STD1

Where do we stand? (technically speaking give applicants a little bite of context)

You will be entering the team during a crucial part of our development. Full scale testbenches are ongoing while full scale aircraft development is running at full speed with many issues to tackle regarding communications networks and associated developments.


Profil recherché

The job has been made for you if you have : 🛠

  • Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree with a minimum 5 years of professional experience as a stress engineer performing structural analysis, FEA of composite structure and test on composite and metallic structure.

  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management tools

  • Track record of successfully performing structural test for a/c design

  • Familiarity with a variety of high-performance composite design, manufacturing and associated structural V&V strategy

  • CAD experience would be a plus..
