As Configuration Manager, you will:

• Develop, deliver, and maintain a detailed Configuration Management (CM) Plan tailored to demanding project requirements and aligned with strict military standards

• Identify, document, and maintain configuration items (CIs), their attributes, and baselines in the CM database

• Manage configuration control, change management, versioning, and quality assurance processes rigorously

• Set up and maintain CM tools, software, templates, and documentation systems.

• Coordinate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, including agenda setting and change evaluations

• Provide training and guidance to project teams to ensure full understanding and compliance with CM frameworks

• Proactively identify and manage configuration-related risks, escalating issues as necessary

• Integrate CM activities into Agile project workflows, collaborating closely with project managers, developers, and cross-functional teams

• Ensure thorough and traceable documentation of all CM decisions and processes from project start to delivery

We are looking for someone with:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field

• 7 to 10 years of experience in configuration management or related IT service delivery (5 to 8 years if holding a Master’s degree)

• Proven experience working in Agile environments and a good understanding of how configuration management fits into Agile lifecycles

• Professional certifications such as Certified Configuration and Data Manager (CCDM), CM2, or equivalent are a plus

• Familiarity with configuration management tools like IBM Rational ClearCase, CA Endevor, Ansible, Puppet, or similar platforms

• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices and change management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail for maintaining accurate configuration records

• A currently valid NATO security clearance up to the Secret level
