We are looking for an experienced Content & Events Executive to join our Marketing team and help the us reach the new customers and deepen our relationships within the Hospitality industry in France.
As Content & Events Executive, you’ll be responsible for supporting the development of French-language content strategies, assisting with events coordination, and contributing to the creation of compelling marketing materials for deeper market engagement and increased revenue.
Responsibilities:
❖ Market Insight
Collaborate with local teams in France, meet with customers, and keep an ear to the topics at the heart of the industry from events and news sources – bringing these insights back to the marketing team, sales and Mapal to help inform campaigns, strategies, customer engagement and new initiatives.
❖ Events coordination
Support the planning, organization, and execution of various events, both virtual and physical, to promote the Mapal's brand and engage the target audience.
Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, invitations, registrations, and on-site support.
❖ French-language content creation
Produce quality written, visual, and multimedia content in French for various channels, including websites, social media, blogs, newsletters, and other materials.
Conduct research on relevant topics to support content creation efforts and ensure accuracy and cultural relevance to the French-speaking audience.
With the digital team, implement SEO best practices and optimize French-language content to increase organic visibility and reach.
Assist in performing keyword research and making data-driven adjustments to improve search rankings.
Development of content for marketing campaigns and promotions, ensuring messaging consistency across different channels.
Collaborate with Demand Generation Managers to execute campaigns effectively.
Coordination and management of Mapal's French-language social media, including crafting posts and responding to audience.
2-3 years’ prior experience in events management and/or Frenchlanguage written communications (including content, social media, research, or digital communications) within a business context.
Native or near-native proficiency in French language with strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level in English, Spanish is a plus.
Basic proficiency in content creation, editing, and storytelling in French.
Familiarity with SEO best practices.
Good organizational skills to support events coordination tasks.
Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends during events.
Willingness to travel for on-site event support, if necessary.
