Job Description:

As the Country Director of Operations for a cluster of 5 hotels, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and business growth across the portfolio. This position requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in hotel operations, strategic planning, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel cluster, ensuring adherence to brand standards, operational policies, and procedures.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, guest experience, and financial performance.

  • Lead and mentor a team of General Managers and department heads, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Manage budgets, financial planning, and P&L statements to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and sustainability initiatives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel owners, corporate offices, and local authorities.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set KPIs, and implement training programs to develop talent and improve service standards.

  • Drive innovation and implement best practices to stay competitive in the luxury hospitality market.

  • Handle crisis management and resolve complex operational issues effectively.

Profile

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 5 years in a General Manager role.
• Proven success in managing multiple properties within international hotel brands.
• Experience in luxury or upscale hotel segments is highly desirable.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in French, Arabic, and English.
• Proven ability to drive operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
