Within Leonardo Belgium, the EU CyberSec Regional Center serves as a European center of cybersecurity expertise, delivering security services and solutions across complex and mission-critical environments.

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Service Manager to support the end-to-end lifecycle of cybersecurity programmes and initiatives for EU institutions and NATO, combining client advisory, service coordination, and cybersecurity subject-matter expertise.

Job description

As a Cybersecurity Service Manager, you will own and drive the coordination of cybersecurity initiatives and programmes and act as an advisor towards EU and NATO clients for the improvement of their cybersecurity posture.

You will steer the identification of cybersecurity needs of clients, drive the response to program proposal by providing context and subject matter expertise, and coordinate the execution of cybersecurity services towards excellence.

You will

  • Act as an advisor to clients to improve their overall cybersecurity posture, providing guidance and subject matter expertise for the whole client engagements lifecycle;

  • Participate in consultations with clients and contribute to the identification of clients' cybersecurity needs by translating them into actionable and feasible actions and proposals for improvement;

  • Contribute cybersecurity subject-matter expertise and client context to the preparation of proposals and responses to calls for tenders, ensuring that proposed solutions are aligned with client needs and operational realities;

  • Coordinate the execution of cybersecurity projects which involve the delivery of cybersecurity services and solutions, to ensure service performance and quality and team coordination and guidance;

  • Act as SPOC for cybersecurity service delivery, managing clients expectations and stakeholders relationships and continuous service improvement;

  • Liaise and collaborate efficiently with other Leonardo functions involved in the end-to-end programmes lifecycle, e.g. project managers, bid and offering, pre-sales;

  • Ensure alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements by defining and overseeing service performance and monitor programmes financial and operational sustainability.

Profile

Experience / Education / Certifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Political Science, Economics, Law, or a related field (ideally with a specialization in security) would be appreciated. However, candidates with alternative educational backgrounds and relevant proven experience will also be considered;

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including experience in cybersecurity-related roles and client-facing/project or service coordination responsibilities, with preferable exposure to EU institutions, NATO, and/or other international organizations;

  • Previous experience in roles involving security governance (e.g. Security Manager) is considered as an advantage

  • Relevant certifications, in particular related to cybersecurity management and risk (e.g., CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Implementer), and/or project management (such as PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent) is an asset

Successful candidates would typically have

  • Experience coordinating cybersecurity programmes, projects, or initiatives in complex international environments, with exposure to clients and key stakeholders;

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build trusted relationships across different levels of an organization;

  • The ability to take ownership of activities, drive initiatives forward, and work autonomously when required;

  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly, navigate ambiguity, and operate effectively in complex environments;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to quality and the ability to perform effectively under pressure;

  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and technical writing skills in an international environment.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with the management of complex enterprise infrastructures, large-scale transformation programmes, or migration initiatives;

  • Knowledge of the EU and NATO regulatory and policy environment, particularly in relation to cybersecurity, security policy, and governance frameworks;

  • Knowledge of security compliance, assurance, or certification processes within complex organizations;

  • Knowledge of additional languages, particularly French or Italian.
