Leonardo Belgium is seeking a Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Specialist to support a prestigious European institution in strengthening its resilience against emerging technology threats.

You will join a newly established, cross-functional cybersecurity team focused on assessing and mitigating risks related to next-generation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and post-quantum cryptography (PQC).

Job description

As a Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Specialist, you will act as a key contributor to the development of emerging technology security capabilities, with a strong focus on anticipating and analyzing future threats.

You will:

  • Develop and maintain forward-looking threat intelligence related to emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, next-gen attack vectors)

  • Build and maintain a centralized threat modeling repository mapping risks to systems, assets, and projects

  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis for innovative and research-driven IT environments

  • Collaborate with incident response teams, penetration testers, and IT departments to improve security posture

  • Contribute to the design of resilient and secure architectures

  • Produce security guidelines, recommendations, and technical documentation for stakeholders

  • Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

Profile

Experience / Education /Certification Requirements

  • 6+ years of overall experience in ICT, including at least 3 years in cybersecurity

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification (minimum 2 years after secondary education)

  • At least one certification in cybersecurity or threat intelligence (or equivalent experience)

  • Awareness of emerging threats in areas such as quantum computing and advanced automation

  • Ability to translate technical risks into clear, actionable recommendations

  • Experience writing structured technical documentation and reports
