DevOps Engineer (all gender)

At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. We focus our efforts in designing an innovative, safe, silent, clean and affordable aircraft that will be able to blend into existing infrastructures and regulations to ease its deployment and maximise social acceptance.

Your role : 🔎

The DevOps Engineer (all gender) will implement the infrastructure management, system administration and DevOps toolchains to ensure the continuity of our CI/CD activities, allowing faster and smarter development, delivery and integration of our software and hardware products.

 Moreover, the role will be also key to design and maintain the data pipelines from the entire application landscape to a centralized data platform.

Your main responsibilities will be : 

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.

• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes

• Document processes and configurations to ensure reproducibility.

• Monitor system performance and ensure availability.

• Implement security and compliance practices.

• Develop and maintain solutions for ingesting business application data into the data platform.

• Ensure the quality and reliability of ingested data.

Full scale testbenches are ongoing while full scale aircraft development is running at full speed.

The job has been made for you if you : 🛠

• Have 5 years of experience or more in DevOps, CI/CD infrastructures

• Have strong experience in coding, scripting and automation

• Have experience in Kubernetes or other containerizing solutions

•  Strong experience with one or more configuration management tools

• Know software development processes

• Have experience in Agile practices

It would be even better if you :

• Have knowledge in Matlab/Simulink or equivalent MDB tools.

• Have experience in JIRA administration

• Have experience in embedded software development

• Have experience in data integrations tools.
