Datacenter Electrical Construction Engineer

International Design and Build group specializing in complex buildings, we are mainly involved in turnkey construction, renovation and extension projects in the Datacenter, Critical Utilities, Industry & Cleanrooms, Wines, Spirits & Agri-Foods sectors.

As part of our growth and organizational development around major industrial building projects as a General Contractor, we are seeking an Electrical Construction Engineer in Athens.

You will be responsible for the full follow-up of works related to your discipline, from the preparation of tender documentation through to project handover. You will work closely with the Engineering, Design, BIM, and other trade teams. The role requires site presence.

More specifically, your main responsibilities will include:

·         Define resource and equipment requirements and contribute to the development of the execution schedule.

·         Manage on-site activities by overseeing the progress of works within your discipline.

·         Act as a key coordinator and serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors and partners within your scope of responsibility.

·         Respond proactively to unforeseen issues, including changes during construction, and organize inspections, commissioning, and snagging/defect rectification activities.

·         Ensure compliance and safety through the proper implementation of HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) regulations.

·         Upstream, participate in the analysis of bids and technical solutions in close collaboration with the project teams.

Holding an Engineering degree specialized in Electrical Engineering, you have at least 5 years of experience overseeing the construction of complex buildings, ideally within a general contracting company.

Recognized for your leadership skills, you possess excellent interpersonal abilities and combine diplomacy, rigor, and a strong service-oriented mindset.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English is considered an asset.

Working primarily from the site office and in close proximity to construction activities, you are highly flexible and willing to travel extensively across the country.
