

Le Mouvement des entreprises de France (MEDEF) est la première organisation représentative des entreprises. Le Pôle social du MEDEF inscrit son action dans la raison d’être du MEDEF “agir ensemble pour une croissance responsable”. Ses missions principales sont les suivantes :
§ la conduite d’actions de lobbying auprès des pouvoirs publics pour défendre les intérêts des adhérents du MEDEF ;
§ la représentation du MEDEF dans des organismes paritaires ou tripartites, les conseils de prud’hommes et des instances de consultations ;
§ le pilotage des négociations nationales interprofessionnelles avec les autres partenaires sociaux

Key competences and experience
MEDEF is looking for a EU Senior Manager to reinforce the Brussels office.
The responsibilities of the selected candidate will include among others:
Monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory developments within the EU institutions and, when relevant, in cooperation with the headquarters
Preparation of- and reporting on- internal and external meetings
Developing of advocacy material, including visuals, internal briefing documents and position papers
· Helping to promote the positions towards the European Institutions
· Contributing to the organisation of conferences and workshops
· Contributing to the weekly internal newsletter and other communication material.
Required skills and qualifications
· University degree in a relevant field (European law/Politics, Political science, etc)
· At least 10 years of professional experience in EU affairs
· Full professional proficiency in French and English with excellent writing skills
· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
· A flexible and proactive attitude to work combined with an autonomous working style;
· Ability to thrive under pressure and keep to tight deadlines
Team player, able to build good working relationships with colleagues
Collaborative approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
