Façade Engineer (Onsite) – 15 Years Exp – GCC & Hospitality

Job description:

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead façade engineering scope across hotel/resort construction projects.

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors for detailed design and execution.

• Oversee site installations, testing, and performance of curtain wall systems, cladding, and glazing.

• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and façade mockups.

• Resolve technical issues onsite and ensure compliance with international codes and LEED standards.

Key Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ experience in façade design and execution, including 5+ years in hospitality projects.

• Strong knowledge of materials (glass, aluminum, composite), waterproofing, and thermal insulation.

• Previous experience in GCC is a plus (Saudi preferred).

• Confident communicator with client-facing capabilities.

Key Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., LEED AP, NCARB) is a plus.

• Proven experience in façade engineering, with a minimum of 15 years of experience, including 5+ years in hospitality projects.

• Strong knowledge of façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing, as well as materials such as glass, aluminum, and composite.

• Experience with international building codes, LEED standards, and local regulations in the GCC region, particularly in Saudi Arabia.

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues onsite.

• Proficiency in design and project management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project).

• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of local languages in the Middle East and Asia is a plus.
