Job Description
The QShield team is looking for a Field Application Engineer to help the Product and Operations team to follow projects with customers and to technically help completing tasks during the lifecycle of the operations. 

Current challenges involve in selling a strongly technical product involving technologies like Whitebox Cryptography, Obfuscation, Remote Attestation and Runtime App Self Protections.  

The Operation team is in charge of piloting customer operations from pre-sale activities to post sale activities. The team is also in charge of product management and product marketing.  

As a member of this team, you will technically support pre-sales to answer to prospect answers and to classify prospect requests you will then being responsible of technical support and upsell activities and you finally being accountable in writing technical design inputs for new features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow Operations activities with Account Manager. 
  • Help Pre-sale design custom solutions for clients if needed. 
  • Help the Product Manager/Product Owner write the technical design inputs for new features/products. 
  • Design and implement custom solutions for specific clients. 
  • Technically support putting together project tenders and customer specifications. 
  • Technical Support of ongoing prospects/customers/partners projects. 
  • Participate in events like trade shows and guarantee the technical setup of demos. 
  • Help design, improve, and update training materials. 
  • Organize and give trainings to customers. 


Who you are
The skills or knowledge we think you should have:

  • Good communication skills, especially with prospects and customers 
  • Knowledge in software engineering/software architecture 
  • Knowledge in developing portable solutions on all OSes (Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android, iOS, etc.) 
  • Knowledge in build system 
  • Development in C/C++ and Java. 
  • Team player 
  • Rigorous and result oriented 
  • Spoken English

But also, that would be nice if you knew:

  • Development in Swift 
  • Cryptography 
  • JNI interface 
  • Reverse engineering 
  • Cmake, Git and Gitlab 
  • Python, bash, javascript 

What is QShield?
At Quarkslab we develop QShield, a software for application protection. Our solutions include a tool to protect Java/Kotlin programs and a C/C++ code-obfuscator based on LLVM, a white-box cryptography library, a RASP framework, a digital vault and remote attestation solutions. All these components help to increase the security of applications and firmware/middleware to protect IP, APIs, secrets and every sensitive information used or provided by software.
