Job description

Tasks:

• Support monthly payroll (with support from HR and Finance staff) and keep organised records thereof.

• Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed

• Process and reconcile bank transactions

• Process tax and supplier payments

  • Support Management Accountant with month end procedures

  • Process and reconcile staff expenses on a monthly basis

• Provide other administrative /ad hoc support to the Head of Finance and Management Accountant

• Participate in annual audits

Team Relationships:

• Direct report to Finance Manger UK

• Indirect report to Management Accountant UK

• First point of contact for internal staff queries on payroll (supported by HR and Finance

Manager)

Profile

Experience:

• Experience processing payroll essential.

• Bookkeeping / financial processing experience desirable.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics / Xero payroll highly desirable

• Experience of working within finance team preferable.

Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of UK payroll environment highly desirable

• Basic understanding of UK VAT desirable

• Not afraid to ask for help / highlight issues when the need arises.
