As a financial products structuring legal officer, your main responsibilities would be to work with financial institutions or corporations to structure and document complex financial products such as derivatives, structured finance transactions, and securitizations.

You would be responsible for understanding the legal and regulatory environment in which the financial product operates, and ensuring that the product complies with applicable laws and regulations.

1. Drafting and negotiating legal documents related to financial products, such as offering memoranda, term sheets, and swap confirmation agreements.
2. Working with internal and external parties, including bankers, traders, and clients, to structure financial products that meet their needs.
3. Conducting legal research and staying up-to-date on regulatory developments that may impact financial products.
4. Advising clients on the legal and regulatory aspects of financial products, and assisting them with navigating the legal and regulatory environment.
5. Managing legal and regulatory risks associated with financial products, including identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
6. Collaborating with other departments such as compliance, risk management, and operations to ensure that financial products are properly documented and comply with all relevant regulations.

Overall, the role requires a strong understanding of financial markets and products, as well as knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape in which those products operate.
