Your role : 🔎
Directly reporting to the Overall System Design leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of the Flight Control System (FCS) and the Avionics to safety requirements and for coordinating the V&V activities.
Your main responsibilities will be :
Ensure the compliance of FCS & Avionics to safety objectives
Manage and coordinate FCS & Avionics V&V activities
Update the V&V Summary
Contribute to upgrades of FCS & Avionics architectures
Keep the FCS & Avionics Functional Hazard Analysis document up-to-date
Conduct FCS & Avionics safety analyses: System Safety Analyses & Fault Tree Analyses, Common Mode Analysis
Contribute to Approval of Flight conditions or Type Certification by writing some documents (Ex: Certif Flight & Simulator Test Program, etc)
Contributes to safety analyses of flight test events and in-service occurrences after Entry Into Service.
These activities will be performed both for Permit to Fly and for Certification.
You will be entering the team during a crucial part of our development. Full scale testbenches are ongoing while full scale aircraft development is running at full speed with many issues to tackle regarding communications networks and associated developments. You will be working in an interdisciplinary team to find global compromise while being given a high level view of the aircraft and propulsion system’s requirements.

Have strong experience (5+ years) in development of complex systems, with a focus on:
V&V processes and methods (V cycle, Means Of validation and verification, Requirement-Based Engineering)
Safety processes such as ARP 4754A/ARP4761
Have a good knowledge of overall aircraft design
Knowledge of CS-25 - or CS-23 and CS-27 - certification requirements
