Your role : 🔎
You will be developing the fly-by-wire Flight Control System (FCS) of our aircraft ATEA, focusing on the hardware and software related to the Flight Control System. Reporting to the ‘Overall System Design’ Leader, you will ensure that the flight control software and the flight controls architecture are compliant with certification, operational and performance requirements.
Your main responsibilities will be :
Mastering the current fly-by-wire FCS architecture and its evolutions
Design and develop the FCS software taking into account safety and performance requirements
The elaboration of High Level Specifications and Low Level Specifications
Secure the interfaces with the following teams: Avionics, Software Integration, Hybrid Propulsion, etc.
Define Verification and Validation procedures for the FCS software, from digital models to hardware-in-the-loop test benches (HIL)
Verify and validate the FCS software up to the flight test campaign

Mandatory qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise (8+ years) in aircraft or helicopter fault-tolerant fly-by-wire architecture: from piloting inceptors to Flight Control Computers to actuators
Proven design experience (8+ years):
- in Fault Detection and Reconfiguration algorithms of multiple sensors
- asynchronous processes management within redundant control computers
- actuator health status algorithms and reconfiguration logics
The ability to analyze complex system interactions for nominal and failure cases
Experience in Matlab / Simulink or SCADE
Experience in system development processes such as ARP-4754A
Bonus qualifications:
Technical knowledge of sensors such as AHRS, Air Data Sensors and Radio Altimeters
Technical knowledge of electro mechanical actuators
Knowledge of communication standards and protocols such as RS-485, CAN, ARINC-429 and Ethernet
Flight testing experience
An experience of CS-25 or CS-27 certification requirements
