With your know-how you make a significant contribution to the implementation of broadband networks in Germany. Based on the customer requirements and local standards, you shall review and finalize the FTTH sites design according to industry
design principles and specification and handles design changes. You will carry out
your work on site as well as in the office or in home office activities.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Development, planning and project planning of Fibre optic and broadband networks using modern software or customer software (CAD and GIS applications).
• Determination of network component requirements and documentation of the entire planning process.
• Calculation of investment costs for Fibre optic infrastructure projects.
• Strategic planning and design of FTTX networks until they are ready for implementation.
• Support in the preparation of order and tender documents.
• Preparation of documents for project and construction management.
• Participation in the securing of cable routes.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
o Completed studies in communications engineering, civil engineering or comparable degree programmes and/or several years of professional experience in this segment
o Practical experience in planning, construction and technical documentation.
o Ideally already experience in the planning and realisation of FTTx infrastructure projects.
o Very good knowledge of CAD/GIS systems such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS and QGIS.
o Persuasiveness, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
o Car driving licence.
