As a business & technical analyst, you contribute to identifying company issues through in-depth investigation and collection of technical and non-technical information. You will be the main channel for managing system requirements between the company, domain architects, and software development team throughout the project. Once the problem is well understood, you will define detailed solution requirements and ensure that the delivered solution meets business requirements. In most cases, you will work on initiatives related to on-site monitoring, but you may also be deployed on other projects. You are engaged from the beginning of a project and play an advisory role with senior executives and management teams.
PRIMARY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce the conceptual and logical models necessary for developing a solution with our architects (Solution, Integration, Application & Security Architects) • Gather, validate, and document business requirements; • Analyze data and requirements; • Model operational processes and identify process improvement opportunities
• Identify issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and describe the impact on the business; • Create functional and technical specifications for solutions; • Produce detailed data models and document detailed specifications for interfaces to be built; • Support the business in data migration and cleanup; Support data governance initiative; • Estimate costs and identify cost savings; • Simplify information and decipher technical jargon for easy understanding by the entire team; • Implement and test solutions; • Support business transition activities and help establish change. • Ensure the program/project meets business/IT objectives and supports business functions; • Ensure the system meets its non-functional requirements, such as performance, scalability, security, flexibility, etc. • Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SOFT SKILL REQUIREMENTS • Experience with the following: • Expertise in functional and technical analysis; • Proficiency in modeling (conceptual, process, data) and extensive experience in architecture (Solution & Application architecture); • Practical experience in Agile, Scrum, BPMN; • Java, React; • GIS; • M365, Documentum; • Mendix • Experience in integration with SAP • Experience in the railway sector (directly or indirectly at Infrabel, SNCB, Syntigo, etc.) is a plus • You have at least 10 years of experience in this role • You have knowledge of the TUC RAIL business domain (engineering and construction), BIM (Building Information Modeling) • You have strong stakeholder management skills • You are communicative, precise, methodical, and autonomous, and you enjoy working with both technical and non-technical resources • You have a highly analytical mindset • You are flexible and capable of adapting to change • You have a critical mindset and enjoy working in a team A search powered by Kalytech Consulting S.A., Avenue Louise, 523 - 1050 Brussels – Belgium Ph.: +32 (2) 613 1670 – Email: info@kalytech-consulting.com METHODOLOGY&CERTIFICATION • Master's degree in ICT; LANGUAGE PROFICIENCYREQUIREMENTS • You are fluent in English, French & Dutch
