About the Role
We are looking for a junior Business Developer/Sales professional at the start of their career to join a high-growth deeptech startup.
You will play a central role in business development with a clear objective: sign the first clients, structure the commercial approach, and actively contribute to identifying the product-market fit.
This role combines commercial, marketing, and strategic dimensions in an entrepreneurial environment with high autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
Identify, qualify, and prospect new B2B clients
Build and manage a sales pipeline
Conduct client meetings (presentations, demos, negotiations)
Participate in defining the go-to-market strategy
2. Product-Market Fit
Collect and analyze client feedback
Adjust messaging and commercial offerings based on market insights
Test different market segments, use cases, and positioning
3. Account Management
Manage and nurture initial client relationships
Grow existing accounts (upsell, cross-sell)
Ensure high client satisfaction
4. Marketing & Lead Generation
Contribute to inbound lead generation
Improve website content and conversion
Launch targeted communication campaigns
Create and host webinars
Develop sales materials (presentations, case studies, product sheets)
Manage LinkedIn as an acquisition channel
Test and optimize different acquisition channels
5. Representation & Events
Attend professional trade shows in France and internationally
Represent the company at tech and business events
Develop a network of partners and prospects
Education/Interest
Dual degree: Engineering School + Business School (or equivalent)
Business School with strong interest for AI/tech/cybersecurity
Engineering School willing to quickly gain expertise in commercial/business topics
Experience
2–3 years (including internships or apprenticeships) in business development, consulting, or startups
