Your role : 🔎
The Office of Airworthiness is in charge of managing product airworthiness. The Office comprises airworthiness engineers and animates the network of airworthiness positions embedded in the Engineering Departments.
Your main responsibilities will be :
Manage the activities for obtaining and maintaining the Design Organisation Approval
Prepare and maintain the Ascendance Design Organisation Handbook
Develop and maintain the airworthiness competence and expertise within the company and nominate staff for the airworthiness roles defined as per DOH provisions
Manage airworthiness activities related to:
Type Certification and Changes to TC (including STC)
Approval of Flight Conditions and delivery of Permit to Fly
Approval of Operational Suitability Data
Noise and environmental certification
Continued Airworthiness of the fleet
Develop, implement and improve the airworthiness processes/procedures
The Head of Office of Airworthiness has the authority to liaise with aviation authorities for all airworthiness and DOA topics. Internally, he/she liaises with the Production Organisation regarding airworthiness. He/she reports to the Engineering Director.
The Head of Office of Airworthiness is nominated by the Head of Design Organisation (HDO) for the HOA function as defined in EASA Part 21.

The job has been made for you if you : 🛠
Have strong experience (20+ years) in aerospace industry with minimum 5 years in an aircraft design organization in an Airworthiness role
Have a comprehensive understanding of Part 21, Part M & Part 145 and corresponding EASA regulations
General knowledge of overall aircraft design and design convergence
An experience of DOA process set up is a plus
An experience of CS-23 and CS-27 certification requirements is a plus
