To help our partner impact funds reach their impact objectives, Innpact has developed a dedicated team of impact measurement and management (‘IMM’) experts. This team of impact managers work closely with the Investment Manager of the fund to design and implement the impact strategy of the fund according to best IMM practices and EU or other Sustainable Finance Regulations.
Reporting to the Manager , the role of the Impact Officer is to assist in developing SFDR and IMM mandates including SFDR compliance strategy, design of the impact management framework, assist in the revision of investee due diligence and drafting of impact reports.
NB: This position is based in Luxembourg.
The hands-on Impact Officer will notably:
Impact Strategy
SFDR compliance, assist in the revision of the relevant annexes and disclosures, advising on best approaches to calculating and reporting Principle Adverse Impacts (PAIs)
Assist in the design of the Impact Management Framework of the fund including design and/or review of the theory of change, impact objectives and targets setting, ESMS etc.
Assist in the investee due diligence from an IMM, ESG and EU or other Sustainable Finance Regulatory perspective (where appropriate).
Assist in the development of IMM tools and templates
(With time) act as Impact/Sustainability officer for impact funds
Impact Reporting
Draft ESG and Impact quarterly and annual reports in alignment with EU and other sustainable finance regulations.

Required:
A true passion to sustainability and impact finance
Experience through internships or university courses in Sustainable Finance or Impact Investing
Advanced university degree (masters or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, preferably sustainable finance, environmental engineering, environmental or social studies; development studies / development finance; or a similar area.
High degree of fluency in both written and spoken English
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Good judgement and attention to detail.
Most importantly, a strong willingness to learn and proactively adapt in a dynamic start-up-like environment.
Advantageous:
An internship or first work experience in a related field (impact investing, ESG, sustainability etc) at an investment fund, development finance agency, financial institution, sustainability consulting firm or similar entity
Experience in emerging markets
Knowledge of gender-lens investing and the 2x criteria
Sustainable Finance certifications such as CFA ESG or CFA Impact Investing
SFDR and EU Taxonomy knowledge
Fluency in additional languages, especially French and Spanish
